In the true Spirit of Christmas
With Christmas heading speedily towards us all, IVC Media, like most business, have been making all the usual plans to cover the Christmas Holiday period. Christmas standby engineer rota, business incentives to roll out in the New Year, and of course preparing to spread the usual good intentions and seasons greetings to all it’s customers and associates in the shape of the traditional Christmas card list. However, amongst all the planning and stamp licking, IVC also thought they should take a moment to think about the real spirit of Christmas and spare a thought for those who might not be looking forward to Christmas as much as the majority of us.
In the true spirit of Christmas it’s better to give than receive, but IVC Media won’t be giving any Christmas cards this year. IVC believe their customers probably wouldn’t miss the odd Christmas card so instead they’ve decided to include the money they would have spent on Christmas cards and postage in their Christmas charity donations, and they feel confident their customers will happily agree.
Over the years IVC Media have been proud to donate to various charities, this year IVC Media will be making a Christmas donation to NSPCC and Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Why NSPCC? The NSPCC’s vision is to end cruelty to children in the UK and this year it’s celebrating its 25th anniversary of ChildLine, the helpline for children and young people. One of IVC’s employees daughter is a ChildLine volunteer councillor in her spare time, and has seen first hand just how vitally important the support that the NSPCC and ChildLine offer to children is.
